Creator Partner Programme Terms
Last updated: 30 August 2026
1. Joining the programme
Creator Partner access is offered or approved by MyCost. Partners receive a unique referral link or code. MyCost may approve, pause or end a partnership where necessary to protect the programme, users or the MyCost brand.
2. Commission
Your dashboard shows your current commission rate and eligible commission period. Unless another rate has been agreed, the standard programme is 30% of eligible subscription revenue for the first 12 months of a referred paying customer's relationship with MyCost.
Commission is calculated from eligible subscription revenue recorded by Stripe, excluding tax where Stripe provides that information. Free plans, free trials and £0 invoices do not generate commission.
3. Referral attribution
MyCost uses a first-party referral cookie that may last up to 30 days. A new workspace is normally attributed to the last valid active Creator Partner referral used before signup. Existing MyCost workspaces are not retrospectively attributed. Self-referrals and artificial duplicate accounts are not eligible.
4. Audience reward
Creator referrals may receive a promotional MyCost Power trial. The duration shown in the partner dashboard applies at the time of signup. A trial does not require the referred user to become a paying customer.
5. Payouts
Commission entries may be held for a short period before becoming available, as shown in the partner dashboard. This allows time for refunds, credits and payment issues. Payouts are initially handled manually by MyCost and recorded in the Creator Partner dashboard. Available balances may roll forward to a later payout.
6. Refunds, credits and charge adjustments
If subscription revenue is refunded, credited, reversed or otherwise reduced, MyCost may reduce or reverse the related commission. Where commission has already been paid, the adjustment may be carried forward against future commission.
7. How partners may promote MyCost
Partners may share MyCost through their own websites, videos, social profiles, email audiences and communities where promotion is permitted. Partners must:
- clearly disclose that they may earn commission;
- describe MyCost and its features accurately;
- follow the rules of any platform or community they post in;
- avoid spam, deceptive claims, fake urgency or pretending to represent MyCost staff;
- not bid on the MyCost brand name in paid search advertising without written permission;
- not use misleading domains, impersonation accounts or unauthorised trademark-style branding.
8. Lifetime Power for Creator Partners
Approved Creator Partner accounts may receive complimentary MyCost Power access for the lifetime of the programme/account. This access is for the approved creator's own MyCost workspace and cannot be resold or transferred.
9. Programme integrity
MyCost may withhold or reverse commission connected to fraud, self-referrals, duplicate accounts, chargebacks, abuse, misleading promotion or other activity that reasonably appears designed to manipulate the programme.
10. Changes
MyCost may improve or change the programme over time. Material changes affecting an existing partner's commission structure will be communicated where reasonably practical. Commission already validly earned remains subject to the terms that applied when it was earned, including refund/credit adjustments.
